Kildonan
Hall

Bringing the community together.

A Community Initiative.

We're fundraising to further our community offerings.

Join us in expanding the local Kildonan village hall and explore our plans to extend the building for the operation of a new cafe serving locals and tourists alike. Kildonan is a highlight of the beautiful Isle of Arran and our plans will further solidify our little village as a spot to visit.

Kildonan, The Isle of Arran

Found on the south coast of The Isle of Arran, one of the most accessible islands off the west coast of Scotland, it's a growing tourist getaway spot with a need for amenities.

About The Hall

A quaint village hall bringing the local community together.

Built in 1915 as a reading room and adopted in 1916 as the Village Hall, the hall has been used continually throughout its’ 100 years. Serving the locals and visitors as a venue for parties, dances, meetings, exhibitions, talks, yoga, exercise, Taiko drumming, and since November 2014, a film club.

Our Future Plans

Forging a brighter future for Kildonan

We're currently working through the stages of bringing this extension to the village hall that will enable the operation of a small cafe. Our plans are accessible, modern and will ensure there's always a spot for tourists to stop by at whilst taking in the beautiful sights Kildonan has to offer.
